There's a lot going on here: The crowd's reaction during the game, Alyssa's understated response upon victory, and... somebody actually won That's Too Much! (which almost never happens)
Who's booing now?!
Contrast that with poor Veronica, who suffered the ignominious fate of being one of the first four contestants on bidders' row and then never making it on stage. Of course, when you do stuff like bid a dollar higher than someone when you're only the second bidder...
Moving on, let's say you're a treadmill manufacturer. Your product costs $1,900 on the open market. How do you feel when you see people think your product is actually worth...
Jason (above, far right) won, of course, and later displayed sound strategy on the wheel. Going first, he spun a 50. There are a lot of people who, upon spinning between 50 and 60 in the same position, elect to stay, despite the rather small odds that it will hold up against two more contestants. It almost never does. Jason wound up spinning a 35 next, giving him 85, which sent him to The Showcase.
And he wound up winning said Showcase, which included the privilege of being a judge at the upcoming Los Angeles Grilled Cheese Invitational.
This is no joke:
Reactions on Twitter were mixed (tweeters' handles in bold):

persianPRlNCESS this prize on the price is right is to be guest judges in the 'grilled cheese invitational' competition. WTF?!
